Our Sports Medicine Experts

Aaron Lee, MD

Aaron Lee, DO, CAQSM, is dedicated to helping you reach your physical activity goals. Dr. Lee and his team use the latest non-surgical treatments and technology to heal and restore. Board certified in family medicine and specializing in sports medicine, Dr. Lee serves as Director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship program at MacNeal. Among clinical faculty and other roles, he is also Medical Director for many Chicago-area half marathon events. Dr. Lee provides care for collegiate and professional athletes and also serves as team physician for Morton and Argo High Schools; he understands the importance of getting patients back in the game, healthy and whole.

 

Eliza Pierko, MD

Eliza Pierko, MD, is dedicated to expert nonsurgical sports medicine care, taking time to listen to patients and make sure they are comfortable with their treatment plans. She is board certified in both internal and sports medicine. Throughout her medical career, Dr. Pierko has participated in team coverage to local high schools, colleges and professional teams, as well as volunteered to provide medical care at multiple Chicago area-based endurance events, including the Chicago Marathon. Dr. Pierko cares about how pain affects patients’ daily lives and is committed to getting them back to doing what they love as soon as possible. She speaks fluent English and Polish.
